Eastern Holstein is located in Germany. There are a lot of things to do in Eastern Holstein. The first thing to do is visit the Holstentor City Gate & City Museum. The Holstentor City Gate & City Museum is known for its twin towers that have a pointy roof on the top of the towers. It is an icon for Germany. Therefore, it has been the feature to many postcards, paintings, posters, and souvenirs. It was built in 1964 and is currently under construction for renovations. It has the following phrase on the inside of the towers: “Harmony within, peace abroad.”

The second thing to do is to check out Trave River. Trave River flows through the Baltic Sea. It is linked to the Elbe-Lübeck Canal. The best way to enjoy the river is with a boat tour. The third thing to do is to visit the Christmas Market. The Christmas Market is located at the former Heiligen-Geist-Hospital, which was Germany’s first hospital. It was built in 1820 in the Gothic style architecture. The fourth thing to do is to go to U-Boot submarine. It is known for being part of World War II.

The fifth thing to do is to visit Rathaus. Rathaus is known as many one of the most beautiful buildings in Germany. This is because its rococo style architecture. The sixth thing to do is Bad Doberan. Bad Doberan is really famous for the cathedral that is on its ground. The seventh thing to do is to visit Kiel. Kiel is the capital city. They hold a boat festival very year that attracts boats from all over the world.


The eighth thing to do is to go to Deutsches Meeresmuseum. Deutsches Meeresmuseum is an aquarium that is off of the Baltic Sea. It has three floors and one of those floors displays a skeleton of giant whale and a hammerhead shark. The ninth thing to do is to go to Kap Arkona. Kap Arkona is the lighthouse for the city that is made of red bricks. The last thing to do is to visit Dom. Dom was founded in 1170 and was built by a spartan.
